It’s currently not on our list of priorities, but it is interesting!
Some of us have actually been analyzing some parts of the episodes for a while now, so this “complete Season 1 timeline” is a big possibility.
However, it’s more of a history thing than a science thing (even though the science of Chronology exists). It will probably end up not on @mlscience, but on our sister blog, @musee-de-miraculous, or in our personal blogs (since it’s already determined by @miraculoushawkdaddy that the episodes can be arranged however a fan likes it, therefore making it more of a…”personal” thing) in the future, most likely after Season 1 ends. It might be reblogged to mlscience though.
Q:"Adrienette" apparently shouldn't have an e according to your triangle chart... But your "pie" chart says it should have an e... Which one is it?
(Correction: The triangle chart shows that it should have an ‘e’, and the swatch chart from the previous survey shows that it shouldn’t.)
The “pie” (swatch) chart was a representation of the responses from the previous ‘Ships Ahoy!’ survey. If you would look closely, it’s the same chart.
During those times, ‘Adrinette’ was only very slightly preferred over ‘Adrienette’, making no clear conclusion on which version is “correct”.
This time, however, ‘Adrienette’ is preferred by more people. While there is no actual solid rule on whether it should be spelled that way or not, the more recent data suggests that more people accept ‘Adrienette’ than ‘Adrinette’, which still has many supporters, and is about equally accepted.
As a rule, more recent data is more accurate than old data, so the conclusion that “Yes, ‘Adrienette’ has an E” is drawn from the fact that more people spelled it with an E. ‘Adrinette’, with its large number of supporters, is still acceptable.
You can spell it however you want, but more people spelled it “Adrienette” when the survey was conducted in February.
Q:I've been taking part of both the first and the current Ships Ohoy, and I think it's a fun and interesting project^^ I was just wondering one thing; how often do you do a Ships Ohoy and how long does it last? Just curious^^

The ‘Ships Ahoy!’ surveys currently have no set schedules; however, we do try to send them out around a month apart, and the previous two lasted about a month as well. They are intended to be kind of a way to measure the state of the ships within the fandom, so they will be sent out every now and then.
Q:Since the part that allows cats to have "night vision" is behind the retina, how come Chat Noir has this ability when the part of his mask covering his eyeballs is on his scelera? (Unless this is some sort of futuristic night vision technology OR his eyes turn into actual cat eyes or kwami magic?)

We don’t actually know how Chat Noir gets and uses his abilities, but like you said, it probably is magic, technology, or anatomical changes brought about upon transformation by Plagg and the Miraculous.
Sadly, such magic doesn’t exist in our universe, so we can’t tell exactly what goes on in there. So unless we find an actual Chat Noir and do an autopsy or MRI scan or something (or get an episode that shows us exactly what we’re looking for), his powers and how they work are up for speculation.
Q:This is really cool, actually! I'm loving what I'm seeing so far and it's really helpful to have actual reasons (and calculations!) as to why you think these things rather than just slapping them up and calling them good. My question is would you like credits for the data in my fanfiction should I use it? (needed info on the yoyo and that's how I found you in the first place. XD)
Credits are unnecessary but are appreciated! Everyone in mlscience does their best to provide facts and calculations as accurate as they can. We love to see others appreciating out efforts :)
Sidenote: The yo-yo calculation is pretty outdated… maybe we should redo it with the Mime episode, hmm… >:?

A lot of people have asked about this, so we’re not gonna ignore it. However, even if Marinette’s parents have different eye colors from what we mentioned, it’s not going to affect the eye color of Marinette’s children because they will still both have the blue gene because Marinette already has the double recessive blue. But since I’m feeling good today, I made some Punnett squares to illustrate some possible genotypes for Marinette’s parents while still being capable of producing blue-eyed children.
Anyway, genetics is weird and complicated. It takes a lot of individual genes to determine how much pigment is produced by the body to make our eyes a certain color. To make things simpler, we followed Mendel’s methods of looking at the visible physical traits and creating assumptions from parent and offspring phenotypes. It’s very difficult to trace which exact genes are present in these characters that affect their eye color.
